The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, travelled to France on Monday amid the controversy surrounding his selection of a running mate.
Tinubu’s Media Team disclosed this today, adding that the former governor of Lagos Stats would hold some meetings while in Paris, the French capital.
The APC flagbearer is expected back in the country shortly.
Earlier, Tinubu met with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) at the Presidential Villa as discord between the northern governors over the choice of the APC national leader’s running mate rises.
Tinubu also attended a public presentation of a book titled ‘Mr. Speaker’, a legislative mentoring initiative in commemoration of the 60th birthday of Speaker of House Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, where the speaker promised to get a suitable running mate for the ex-governor of Lagos.
