The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been scheduled for a private visit to London, United Kingdom.
Making this disclosure through the official media page of the president @ABATMediaCentre on Saturday, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Dele Alake stated that President Tinubu will proceed to London from France, for a short private visit.
President Tinubu on Friday, concluded his official visit to Paris in France, where he had participated in a summit for A New Global Financing Pact,’ hosted by French President, Emmanuel Macron.
The President who left Nigeria for Paris on Tuesday, on his first foreign outing as Nigerian President, was initially scheduled to come back to Abuja on Saturday.
However, in his disclosure of the President’s trip, through a Press Release on the official Twitter media centre of the President on Saturday, Alake stated that Mr Tinubu will be back to the country before the forthcoming Salah celebration.
The release reads in part:
“AFTER SUCCESSFUL PARIS OUTING, TINUBU OFF TO LONDON ON PRIVATE VISIT
“President Bola Tinubu on Friday concluded his official trip to Paris, France, during which he had an outstanding participation in a summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
“President Tinubu, who was initially scheduled to be back in Abuja on Saturday, will now proceed to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit.
“The President will be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.”
