President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will host the Progressive Young Leaders Summit 2024 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja from September 3rd to 5th, 2024.
This announcement was made on Friday in a statement released to newsmen by the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel. The 3-day event, themed “Shaping the Future We Want: From Restiveness to Inclusion, Action, and Development,” will be held from September 3rd to 5th, 2024, and will be officially opened by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima.
According to the APC chieftain, the summit, organized by the ruling APC in collaboration with the Office of the APC National Youth Leader, is dedicated to channeling the energy and aspirations of young Nigerians towards building a future that embodies their collective dreams.
He said that the summit, with a communiqué to be delivered to President Tinubu at the end of the event, will bring together a distinguished gathering of Nigerian public and private sector leaders, government officials, policymakers, and dynamic young executives, according to The Nation.
He added that the event aims to bridge the gap between youth and government, foster intergenerational dialogue, and provide a platform for young Nigerians to actively engage with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
The 3-day event, themed “Shaping the Future We Want: From Restiveness to Inclusion, Action, and Development,” aims to empower young Nigerians to take an active role in shaping the country’s development agenda.
Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima will officially open the summit, which will feature Ministerial Town Hall sessions, allowing participants to engage directly with government leaders on critical issues such as education, technology, and economic development.
The event, organized by the All Progressives Congress in collaboration with the Office of the APC National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel, is expected to attract over 3,000 participants from across the nation.
According to Dr. Israel, the summit underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment, providing a platform for young Nigerians to actively engage with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
