Akume made this known on Wednesday while inaugurating the Geo-Spatial Centre of the National Emergency Management Agency in Abuja.

He reiterated that President Tinubu means well for the country and would do everything to ensure that the welfare of the citizens are better, according to The Nation.

He said, “The President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, means well for this country and is committed to improving on the lives and welfare of the citizens.

“Let me assure you of the continued support of the Federal Government to re-invigorate the public service to be more productive and responsive to the yearnings of the people and move the country forward.”

However, the SGF said the NEMA centre would boost disaster forecasting, data mapping, and information management system.

The NEMA geo-spatial centre, formerly called Geographic Information System is a technology that is used in all phases of disaster management, such as preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery, and rehabilitation.

The centre would help in processing data for information gathering, research, and forecasting for disaster management.
