Okpebholo’s error was quickly corrected by Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who was standing beside him on the podium.
The incident has sparked online discussions, with some questioning Okpebholo’s readiness for leadership.
The gaffe is yet to be addressed by the APC or Okpebholo’s campaign team.
