The Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Project Monitoring/Audit, Goodnews Agbi, has expressed his admiration for the state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Agbi, who was the New Nigeria Peoples Party governorship candidate in the 2023 Delta State election, praised Governor Oborevwori’s hard work and transparency, highlighting his achievements within his first year in office.
Speaking in the state capital, Asaba, Agbi emphasized the governor’s impact on the state, saying: “Deltans should be grateful to God that they have a governor like His Excellency. Anywhere you go in the state, there are projects going on.” He continued, “The projects are creating jobs for our people and the communities. That is why I said we should be thankful to God that we have a man like our governor today.”
Agbi, who has been working closely with the governor, noted that Oborevwori has made significant progress in developing the state, stating, “He has been able to push the state, so much that the landscape has changed.” He encouraged people to explore the state and witness the various projects underway, including those inherited from previous administrations and those initiated by the current government.
Agbi emphasized the importance of appreciating the governor’s efforts, concluding, “So, we should be thankful to God that we have a very good governor.” His statements reflect his admiration for Governor Oborevwori’s dedication to the state’s development and his appreciation for the positive impact on the lives of Deltans.
