Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has revealed why she accepted to be the running mate to Peoples Democratic Party’s Governorship candidate in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran.
Akindele whose marriage to rapper, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, recently hit the rocks confirmed her selection as Adediran, aka Jandor’s running mate in a video she posted on Tuesday.
“I saw it as an opportunity to help liberate and improve the wellbeing of our people, particularly the deprived youth, women and the girl child.
“My decision is not just to accept this huge responsibility but to also work tirelessly and complement Jandor’s burning desire to see our dear Lagos live up to its full potential,” the Jenifa’s Diary actress told her 15.5 million Instagram followers.
