A teenager who stood in front of the convoy of the presidential candidate of the labour party, Peter Obi, during his presidential rally in Lagos on Saturday, Yusuf Alimi has revealed that his action was as a result of his pure love for the LP candidate.
While speaking with the Punch Newspaper correspondent, shortly after the campaign rally, Yusuf stated that he will pray for Obi if he wins.
Peter Obi, who is contesting under the umbrella of labour party, was in Tafawa Balewa yesterday, as part of the activities to rap up the campaign for the February 25 presidential election.
Obi, who is among the three major contenders in the forthcoming election was welcomed to Lagos amidst a mammoth crowd, mostly youth that followed him right from Berger to the venue of the campaign.
Obi, who is a Former Governor of Anambra State and a well respected political figure in Nigeria is contesting for the post of the first citizen of the country, alongside side Yusuf-Datti, an astute business man, as his running mate.
The 2023 presidential election is holding on the 25th of February and the activities to rap up all political campaigns is going on all over the country.
