The immediate former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, has tendered his unreserved apology to the leadership of All Progressives Congress, following his absence at the caucus meeting organised by the party on Wednesday August 2, 2023.
Osinbajo who made this known through a letter of apology directed to the Acting National Chairman of the party, Abubakar Kyari, revealed that his absence did not stop his commitment to the party, while reaffirming his loyalty and dedication to the party.
In the letter of apology addressed to the Party’s Acting Chairman, the former VP explained that he was already abroad for engagements which he had long been committed, when he received the invitation to the meeting.
He revealed that he had cancelled some of his engagements abroad to be available for the party’s two previously scheduled caucus meetings, which had to be postponed due to exigencies.
