All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Delta state, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has warned members of the opposition to desist from attacking members of the All Progressives Congress.
According to The Sun, the Deputy Senate President stated this on Friday during his ward to ward campaign in Warri South Local Government area.
He stated that allowing people to vote freely for their preferred candidate is a key component of free, fair, and credible elections.
Omo Agege then told his supporters to stay strong because he would personally make sure that no political party would bother or scare them again before the 2023 elections.
According to him; “Nobody can scare you. Nobody can molest you. We are now prepared to engage all available legal means to fight back and on the election day, there will be adequate security for everyone. And by God’s grace, we shall win.”
Senator Omo-Agege said the era of “local strongmen,” running away with election materials is over. This is the BVAS age, he pointed out, and those planning to chase away APC voters shall be “firmly resisted. he said.
