A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has defended Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s slip during his presidential campaign flag-off.
Tinubu launched his presidential campaign, on Tuesday, at the Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State.
During his address at the event, while he wanted to say ‘God bless APC’ he slipped and said ‘God bless PD…APC”.
Garba, on Wednesday, took to his Twitter handle arguing that Tinubu’s blunder of referring to APC as PDAPC was a strategic approach.
In his tweet, he said that Tinubu had been preparing for the presidential office for almost 30 years, hence, the reason for the slip-up.
Adding that Tinubu in his ‘slip’ was appreciative of the Peoples Democratic party members who are working for the success of his campaign.
“God bless PDAPC was a parabolic communication to those in the PDP that are tirelessly working for the success of APC. Tinubu is a genius!” he wrote.
