Rivers State Governor, Siminialayi Fubara has reportedly met with President Bola Tinubu in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
The meeting between the duo was said to have held behind closed doors.
The meeting was said to have commenced at about 5:35pm immediately the Rivers Governor arrived at Aso Rock.
While Fubara did not state the reason for his visit, it may not be unconnected with the implementation of the 8-point agreement signed by the governor during his last visit to the Villa, according to Independent.
Recall that Fubara and his predecessor now current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyeson Wike had been having a running battle over who controls the soul of the state.
While Fubara, jubilated that the ‘red biro’ his enemies were eyeing is still with her, former Rivers Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory retarliates that in a no distant time, Rivers people will know who is in charge.
