The Director of contact and mobilization for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign council for the North West, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, has stated that the All Progressives Congress inherited the challenge of insecurity.
According to Daily Post, Jaji stated this on Sunday to journalists during a press conference.
Jaji, who is a former lawmaker said that Nigerians should not blame the APC for the lingering case of insecurity in the nation as they inherited it from the previous administration.
Jaji claimed that the oil find in Gombe State, which he described as yet another significant victory for the APC-led government in the nation, had been soon forgotten by the people of Nigeria.
He pleaded with Nigerians to vote for all APC candidates to support Buhari’s legacies, saying there was every sign that the APC will win the upcoming general elections by a landslide.
“I am very optimistic that APC would retain its seat at the national and State levels and if the APC presidential candidate is elected in 2023, he will make Nigeria and Nigerians very proud.
“I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and will tackle it appropriately.
“We know that the security challenges were inherited by the APC-led government and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem,” he stated
