The president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) in Daura, his country home, today.
Tinubu, who was declared the winner of the just concluded presidential election in Nigeria, early this morning, went to visit Buhari in Daura, after receiving his certificate of returns in Abuja today.
He visited the president, alongside his vice, Kashim Shettima and some party Chieftains, including the former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, Former governor of Borno State, Alimodu Sheriff and some APC governors.
Tinubu, who received his certificate of returns as the president-elect at the international conference center Abuja, today, was declared winner of the 2023 presidential election, after defeating his closest rivals, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Gregory Peter Obi of the Labour Party, with a score of 8,794,726, while Atiku and Obi scored 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 respectfully.
