Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri on Monday, October 16, 2023, attended a regional security retreat.
Governor Fintiri who made this known via a post on his X handle on Monday, noted that the security retreat was a crucial one.
According to him, the regional security retreat was also attended by the Directors of State Security Services from the Northeastern part of the country, including Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Borno, Yobe and Taraba states.
The governor revealed that pressing security challenges facing the North East were discussed during the retreat.
“Today, I attended a crucial regional retreat with the Directors of State Security Services from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe States.
“Together, we discussed pressing security challenges in our beloved North East Nigeria,” he tweeted.
