The organizing secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Chief Obinna Atuonu, has reportedly passed away after collapsing in church.
Atuonu, aged 65, was said to have died during a church service in Aba while addressing the parishioners.
The deceased’s only brother, Dr. Chiedozie Atuonu, received a call to rush to Aba from Umuahia.
Upon arrival, he discovered that his brother was critically ill and was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead, according to The Nation.
Meanwhile, the body of the late APC organizing secretary has been deposited at the mortuary.
