The Jigawa State Executive Council has given its approval for the establishment of three new agencies.
Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Information, Youth Support, and Culture, Sagir Musa Ahmad, revealed this development. He stated that the decision was made during the state executive council meeting chaired by Governor Umar Namadi.
According to Ahmad, the council’s decision follows the submission of Draft Bills on New Agencies, which will be forwarded to the State House Assembly for approval into law.
The newly proposed agencies, for which the bills were drafted, include the Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency, Jigawa State Residents Identity Management Agency, Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board, and Jigawa State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board.
