The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Honorable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away. He died in the early hours of Monday while in the United States of America.
Omodewu’s political career was marked by his service as a commissioner under the administration of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State. He was a respected figure, particularly in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area, which is part of the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone in Oyo State.
The news of his death was confirmed by the APC’s Publicity Secretary in Oyo State, Wasiu Olawale Sadare, who said: “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more. He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”
