The House of Representatives has adjourned the plenary session, which resumed today after recess, until tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25, in memory of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
This act by the house is in line with the tradition of the National Assembly to suspend the first sitting after the death of a federal lawmaker.
Mbah was said to have died after he departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom where he went for an operation.
Recall that the Senate and House of Representatives had embarked on their annual recess in July.
The two chambers of the national assembly commenced the recess after passing some crucial bills.
