Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, visited Yobe State on Friday to engage with young people on critical issues concerning their future.
His visit aimed to foster political and economic growth while exploring opportunities for youth development in the region.
During the engagement, the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Wisdom, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians. He highlighted various initiatives specifically designed to support youth advancement and ensure their success.
“As the Minister of Youth Development, we’re dedicated to ensuring these initiatives reach Yobe State,” Wisdom stated, emphasizing the government’s efforts to extend its programs to the region. He also praised the collaboration between his ministry and Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, noting their shared vision for youth development.
“We have a wonderful Governor, and we’re working together to ensure everything runs smoothly,” he added.
The event coincided with the holy month of Ramadan, and the minister expressed gratitude during the iftar gathering, praying for divine guidance and protection for all in attendance.
As part of his visit, Seyi Tinubu paid courtesy calls on the Emir of Damaturu, Shehu Hashim II ibn Umar El-Kanemi, and Governor Mai Mala Buni at the Government House. He was warmly received by a large crowd of enthusiastic youths, who welcomed his efforts to engage with them on issues affecting their future.
