The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially received a petition seeking to commence the recall process of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from the National Assembly.
According to The PUNCH, INEC’s Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, confirmed the receipt of the petition on Monday.
The petitioners’ push for the senator’s recall is reportedly based on concerns regarding what they describe as an “international embarrassment.”
