Former All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has alleged that Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Biafra Prime Minister, is behind the protests against President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Garba claimed Ekpa, who is taking refuge in a foreign country, contracted influencers to cause destruction in Nigeria, exploiting the current economic hardship.
Taking to X, he accused Ekpa of illegitimacy and called for Nigeria to review its relationship with Finland, demanding Ekpa’s extradition for questioning.
Garba also implicated some Northern influencers and angry politicians who he claims are seeking revenge against the government for their losses.
Posting on X, Garba wrote: “The real sponsors of these rioters/‘not genuine protesters’ are sworn Nigerian enemies, someone like @simon_ekpa who’s taking sanctuary in a foreign land yet ordering and commanding the destruction of his fatherland.
“There is no greater illegitimacy in birth and in roots than this.
“When I told you the North was deceived, I know what I am saying.
“These guys contracted some northern influencers to assist them in exploiting the current economic hardship against the Tinubu Administration.
“Couple with the fact that some angry and envious politicians see this as an opportunity to exert revenge upon the government for their loss.
“Nigeria needs to review our relationship with Finland if they refuse to package and send this Ekpa guy to the Nigerian authorities for questioning.”
