A former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hilliard Etta, has said there is no crisis in the party following the resignation of the National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
Recall that, the deputy national chairman of the party, Senator Abubakar Kyari assumed office on Monday as acting National Chairman, following the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu on Sunday night.
In an interview with Arise News on Monday, the party chieftain said the resignation of Adamu and the National Secretary of the ruling, Senator Iyiola Omisore, is out of personal choice.
Etta asserted that “Adamu’s resignation will have no negative bearing on the party, as the party’s leadership is working harmoniously towards achieving its planned objectives”.
