Former Minister of Defence and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, has extended his congratulations to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa following his victory in the recently concluded governorship election.
Kayode described the governor’s triumph as a positive development for the state, expressing hope for significant advancements in various sectors under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
“This is a good omen for the people of Ondo State, as there will be tremendous development in all sectors. Our people expect this,” he remarked.
The former minister praised the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies for ensuring the election adhered to constitutional guidelines, thereby upholding the integrity of the process.
He commended the people of Ondo State for decisively re-electing Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing that the outcome was a testament to the governor’s popularity and the electorate’s trust in his leadership.
“The people of the state have made the right choice by voting for Aiyedatiwa, who is a round peg in a round hole,” Kayode noted.
Kayode expressed confidence that Governor Aiyedatiwa would embark on an ambitious development agenda to transform the state. He highlighted the governor’s commitment to implementing a comprehensive Master Plan aimed at driving rapid development.
“This plan will include impactful infrastructure development, complemented by strong support from the Federal Government. All true patriots must align with and support Governor Aiyedatiwa in this new enterprise,” Kayode stated.
In his message, Kayode urged all stakeholders in Ondo State to work together in supporting the governor’s vision for a prosperous and progressive state. He emphasized that the collective efforts of citizens, the state government, and federal authorities would be critical to achieving sustained growth and development.
