The All Progressives Congress has prolonged the tenure of its Rivers State Caretaker Committee for an additional six months.
The National Working Committee made this decision during their 151st meeting at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, according to Channels TV.
A statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Esq., said the decision was reached at its 151st meeting held on Wednesday.
This extension ensures the committee’s continued functioning for another half year.
The membership of the Caretaker Committee remains as originally constituted:
Chief Tony C. Okocha – Chairman
Chief Eric Nwibani – Secretary
Hon. Chibuike Ikenga
Prince Stephen Abolo
Hon. Silvester Vidin
