Wife of late Ondo State Governor, Betty Akeredolu, has accused her late husband’s niece, Funke Akeredolu Aruna, of changing ship to the new government.
Before Rotimi Akeredolu passed away, Funke was his deputy chief protocol, however, she has recently reportedly changed ship in support of the incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Taking to her Instagram page on Monday morning Mrs. Akeredolu share a picture of Funke at a gathering wearing a cap with the inscription “I’M LUCKY”, a tag popularly used by supporters of governor Aiyedatiwa.
She wrote, “Behold the face of Aketi’s niece, Funke Akeredolu Aruna, the former deputy chief protocol to Aketi, shamelessly parades as “I’M LUCKY”. Bloody serpent! Time will tell if she is truly lucky!”
It is rumored that Mrs. Akeredolu was not in support of Aiyedatiwa becoming the governor after her husband’s demise, hence, her expression of hatred for her niece-in-law who is reportedly parading in support of Aiyedatiwa.
