The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has taken over as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum.
According to The Punch, the Sokoto helmsman replaced his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi.
Tambuwal was conferred the new Chairman of the NGF at the National Economic Council meeting in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Fayemi whose tenure ended as the chairman of the NGF handed over the baton to the Peoples Democratic Party’s former presidential aspirant.
