Former President Muhammadu Buhari has celebrated his 81st birthday anniversary in his country home, Daura, Katsina State.
Buhari celebrated his 81st birthday among family, friends and well-wishers, on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Some photos of the retired military leader were seen online, celebrating his birthday at his residence in Daura.
However, some of the dignitaries present at the event, to celebrate his birthday, include the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, among others.
Speaking at the event, Buhari said he was deeply touched by the outpouring of well wishes and prayers online and offline on his 81st birthday.
He added that he is thankful to everyone, especially those who found time to visit him in his country home, to celebrate, his birthday.
