The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has cast his vote at his polling unit in Daura, Katsina State.
The President arrived at his polling unit with his entourage at the Sarkin Yara A Kofar Baru 01/003 polling unit where he performed his civil duties.
Shortly after casting his vote, the president was seen publicly showing his opened ballot paper to other voters who were at the polling unit.
Buhari is expected to hand over to the winner of the presidential election on the 29th of May, 2023.
