Former Senate President, Bukola Abubakar Saraki, has congratulated the Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo/Okukenu III on his 80th birthday.
Disclosing this through a post on his X handle, Saraki noted that he joined the people of Egbaland to pray that God continues to be the paramount ruler, more years of good health, happiness and prosperity, on earth.
He however prayed that the Yoruba ruler’s reign would continue to be peaceful and prosperous.
Oba Gbadebo IV, who ascended the throne of his ancestor on the 2nd of August, 2005, was born on the 14th of September, 1943.
However, the Kabiesi who is celebrating his 80 years on earth, has been celebrated by many prominent people in the country.
Sending his congratulatory message, Saraki tweeted: “Heartfelt congratulations to Kabiyesi, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, on his 80th birthday.
“My family and I join the people of Egbaland in particular and Ogun State in general to pray that the Almighty God continues to grant you many more years of good health, happiness, and prosperity.
“May your reign continue to be peaceful and prosperous.
