Kaduna North Federal Constituency Representative, Bello El-Rufai, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the newly created National Sports Commission.
Taking to X, El-Rufai described Dikko as a brilliant businessman and seasoned sports administrator, citing his experience as Chairman of the League Management Company and consultant for the Nigerian House of Representatives Sports Committee.
The Representative expressed high expectations for Dikko’s tenure, anticipating significant investments in the sports sector.

El-Rufai’s endorsement comes after President Tinubu scrapped the Ministry of Sports Development and established the National Sports Commission. The move aims to revitalize Nigeria’s sports landscape.
