The former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Yusuf Zailani, has expressed strong support for Governor Uba Sani, stating that the governor’s policies have positively impacted the majority of the people in the state.
He further vowed to oppose the governor’s political opponents in the state, emphasizing that those criticizing Uba Sani are not popular and rely on political figures like him (Zailani) for their influence.
Zailani made these remarks during a condolence visit by Governor Uba Sani and other senior government officials to his family residence in Rigachikun, a town on the outskirts of Kaduna metropolis, located in Igabi Local Government Area.
According to Zailani, both Kaduna and Igabi Local Government belong to Governor Uba Sani, as well as President Bola Tinubu, especially in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.
“Those fighting you are not fighting you, Your Excellency, they are fighting us. Just give us a free hand, and let’s see who will run away from Kaduna between us,” Zailani stated. “We are not afraid because each LGA has its leader. Igabi Local Government is a no-go area for anybody. It is for APC, President Tinubu, and Governor Uba Sani alone.”
The former Speaker also praised Governor Uba Sani for addressing the security challenges that plagued the state under the previous administration.
“Our people are now moving freely and going to their farms. So, it is imperative to thank President Bola Tinubu, the governor, and the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu,” he noted.
Zailani concluded by affirming that the people of Igabi Local Government are praying for the success of Governor Uba Sani’s administration, acknowledging that it has achieved unprecedented developments for the area.
