The immediate past chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has praised the ongoing Delta State council election as peaceful and impressive.
Speaking to newsmen after casting his vote at Edjeba Ward, Unit 9, Ward 10, Tidi commended the massive deployment of security agents, led by Commissioner of Police Olufemi Abaniwonda, for ensuring a peaceful exercise.
He expressed satisfaction with the high voter turnout, saying, “The turnout is impressive, and we’re confident of victory for our party. From the reports we’ve received, we’re already coasting to victory. I want to thank the voters for their massive participation.”
Tidi’s positive assessment suggests a successful and peaceful election process in Delta State.
Tidi commended eligible voters for their massive turnout to vote for the elections, according to Daily Post.
“That was very good and we are quite sure of victory for our party. From the information we’ve gotten so far, we already coasting to victory. So, I want to thank them.”
