A fire broke out early Monday morning at the Katsina State Government House, specifically at the fueling station, with flames visible in the area.
A nearby resident described the scene, saying, “I saw a fire service truck rushing in. I was in my house as early as 6 a.m. after prayers. A fire service truck rushed into the Government House, and I later learned there was an inferno inside the red chamber where Governor Dikko used to host guests.”
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the government has not yet issued a statement about the incident.
The resident reported that the fire started around 6 a.m., and the fire service truck quickly responded to the scene.
