Former Federal lawmaker who represented Kaduna West at the Senate, Senator Shehu Sani on Saturday, berated the last administration of the former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The former lawmaker who mocked the former Nigerian leader over his alleged poor administration said the recent declaration of a state of emergency on food security in Nigeria, by the administration of President Bola Tinubu, has exposed the deception of the last administration about the rice pyramid and the futility of closing the land borders.
The politician stated that it is so impossible to have food security when farmers are slaughtered by terrorists.
He stated further that in a country where farming communities are forced to pay levies to bandits, the possibility of having food security there is slim.
“You cannot have food security in a country where farmers are slaughtered by terrorists and farming communities are forced to pay levies to Bandits.
“The declaration of emergency on food security exposed the deception about those rice pyramids and the futility of closing the land borders,” he wrote.
