Former Minister of Employment, Labour and Productivity, and an elder statesman, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe is dead. He was 86.
Gwadabe died in Kano on Tuesday night, after a protracted illness.
A relation of the late elder statesman, Nasiru Gwadabe while speaking with journalists, said the funeral prayer of the late minister would take place by 2.00 pm on Wednesday at his residence off Maiduguri road, in Kano.
Alhaji Musa Gwadabe was a minister during Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure in 1999. He was first appointed Minister of Solid Minerals Development before being reassigned to the Ministry of Employment, Labour, and Productivity.
He was also Secretary to Kano State Government during the tenure of Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and was a member of several boards.
Until his death he was a member of the All Progressives Congress, and Board Chairman of, the Industrial Training Fund.
The Ex-minister was survived by 12 children, great-grandchildren, and relatives.
