This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo, on Sunday evening.
According to the statement, Ehie’s appointment was approved alongside some other newly appointed Special Advisers to Governor Fubara.
However, the new appointees are expected to be present at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House, by 10:30 am on Monday, for their swearing-in ceremony.
The statement read, “His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, the Governor of Rivers State, has approved the appointment of the under-listed as Chief of Staff and Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor.

Ehie resigned as a member representing Ahoada East in the Rivers State House of Assembly and also, as the factional speaker of the house, elected by the members loyal to the governor.
The former speaker resigned, shortly after President Bola Tinubu intervened in the political crisis in the state, little to a supremacy battle between Fubara and his erstwhile godfather and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
