Gunmen have allegedly kidnaped the Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State,Hon. Kawu Ibrahim Yakasai.
Reports revealed that Yakasai forcibly taken from his house in Yakasai village in the night, on Friday, August 25, 2023.
However, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kaduna State Governor, Mohammed Lawal Shehu, has dislosed the Governor Uba Sani has directed security agencies to go after the abductors and ensure that the former Chairman of Soba Local Government Area in the state, regain his freedom.
Governor Sani in the statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Shehu, the restated the commitment of his administration, to the safety of the lives and property of all residents in the state.
He however added that as part of the steps taken to secure lives and properties in Kaduna, the government was to employ 7,000 vigilantes to complement the efforts of conventional security agencies.
