Findings have revealed that the Independent National Electoral Commission, is yet to upload results from 21,374 polling units on IRev.
According to The PUNCH, the electoral body has only uploaded 155,472 results from 176,846 polling units which represents an 88 percent of the poll’s outcome.
It was also gathered that the results were still being electronically transmitted at the time this report was filed.
People anticipated that, as INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu had promised, the election results would be posted on election day.
However, INEC faced criticism for failing to post results to its viewing portal, which prompted several party representatives to leave the National Collation Centre in Abuja on Monday.
The results of every voting location had not yet been uploaded to INEC’s website, according to checks done by The PUNCH on Friday.
The main opposition candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, received 6.9 million and 6.1 million votes, respectively, while Bola Tinubu, the candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress, received 8.8 million votes, according to the Commission.
