The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, has accused the All Progressives Congress of having violent characteristics.
The former senator said this while during an interview on Arise TV.
Melaye who claimed to have escaped a series of assassinations linked the attempts to the APC, adding that ‘violence is in the DNA of the party’.
The former Kogi West Senator said tension had been part of the lives of the Kogi people since the APC came into power seven years ago.
He maintained that he has had several court cases against the federal government, adding that he has been attacked several times.
“I have survived four assassination attempts; I have had 12 court cases of FG vs. Dino Melaye, and I have been attacked severally. It is not new, as it is in the DNA of the APC to be violent.”
