Financial expert, Fuad Kayode-Laguda, has secured the All Progressives Congress candidacy for the forthcoming Surulere 1 Constituency House of Representatives by-election.
According to The PUNCH, his victory was attained after winning the party’s primary election held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, on Saturday.
Set to take place on February 3, 2024, the by-election aims to fill the seat left vacant by the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Gbajabiamila previously represented the constituency until his appointment as Chief of Staff by President Bola Tinubu.
