The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has bagged a lifetime achievement award at the Voice of Women Conference in Abuja organised by Women Radio.
The governor was honoured for his unrivalled political will to mainstream gender inclusion in leadership positions.
“We’ve heard a lot of sweet talks in the past but Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is the first to put his money where his mouth is by creditably empowering women in leadership positions in his state,” Erelu Bisi Fayemi, former First Lady of Ekiti State and prominent African gender rights activist, said.
The conference was attended by prominent female political leaders from across Africa, including First Ladies, female parliamentarians, ministers, and several other activists.
