The former chairman of the NDDC under Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Lauretta Onochie, has commended Ola Olukoyede, the new EFCC chairman for the call for self-audit in the commission.
Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson of the EFCC, declared the development in a statement published on the commission’s website on Tuesday, adding that the directive was with immediate effect.
The ex-NDDC boss took to her X, formerly Twitter on Tuesday evening to air her view of the self-audit by the new EFCC boss.
She stressed that the move was a good start for the new boss.
She wrote: New EFCC Chair Olukoyede makes a beautiful start. Orders all @officialEFCC Staff to declare assets.”
