An All Progressive Congress member in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel E. Manding, has praised Governor Abdullahi Sule’s one-year performance, describing it as “incredible, purposeful, and impactful.”
Manding lauded the governor’s honesty, sincerity, and prudent management of resources, expressing confidence that these qualities would propel the state to greatness.
As the Chairman of the House Committee on Land and Survey, Manding spoke to journalists, urging the citizens of Nasarawa to be patient with both the state government and President Bola Tinubu’s administration in their efforts to improve the people’s well-being. He emphasized that Sule’s government is implementing pragmatic and sustainable reforms in line with the APC’s principles.
Rejoicing with the governor and the entire state on the one-year anniversary of Sule’s administration, Manding stated, “As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of Abdullahi Sule-led administration, it is important for us in Nasarawa to sustain the support for the ongoing reforms in Nasarawa.”
He highlighted the necessity for cooperation between the citizenry and the government at all levels to bring about development in the state and nation. “The state has a bright future, but all hands must be on deck to complement the efforts of the government in positioning the state.”
Manding commended the governor’s efforts to fix infrastructure and implement projects aimed at improving citizens’ lives, calling for unity across political, religious, and ethnic lines. He stressed the importance of upholding democratic values such as probity, transparency, and accountability, which he believes Governor Sule’s administration represents.
“People irrespective of political, religious, and ethnic inclinations must continually engage the citizenry for sustainable development. The tenets of democracy anchored on probity, transparency, and accountability which the administration of governor Sule represents must be upheld and sustained by all and sundry for the state to attain greater heights.”
Manding acknowledged the significant achievements in agriculture, infrastructure, education, health, and peace during Sule’s first year in office. He emphasized that these accomplishments should not be undermined by those who do not have the state’s best interests at heart.
He expressed optimism about the future under the APC leadership at both the state and federal levels, noting, “I want to state equivocally that Nasarawa state has gotten a leader who is prepared to carry Nasarawa state to the next level. All hands must be on deck to assist Governor Sule in delivering good governance to the people of Nasarawa state.”
Manding also appealed to the citizens to support the governor in maintaining the fragile peace achieved so far and assured that lawmakers would continue to provide the necessary support for peaceful coexistence through dialogue and reconciliation.
In conclusion, Manding prayed for God to bless the leaders with good health, wisdom, and courage to serve humanity and build the Nasarawa desired by all, calling for the collective support of all citizens to address the socio-economic challenges facing the state and the nation.
