The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed plans to secure the electoral victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
Ganduje who made this known while addressing the party faithful at the reception organized in honour of Nasarawa APC Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello, in Lafia, the state capital, said Nasarawa belongs to the APC, and the part also belongs to the state.
According to him, the party has won the state, and there is no going back, in safeguarding the electoral mandate of Governor Sule.
“We have won the election, and we shall protect our mandate. There is no doubt about it.
“Nasarawa State belongs to APC, and APC belongs to Nasarawa State. We are in charge, and we will continue to be in charge by the grace of God,” he concluded.
It would be recalled that the Nasarawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal recently invalidated Sule’s election and declared David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party, as the rightful winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state.
