The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has congratulated the newly inaugurated Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, on his appointment.
The commission, in a statement issued on Tuesday, expressed hopes that Adelabu’s wealth of experience in various sectors would reflect in the quality of output from the power sector going forward.
The statement read, “As Chief Adebayo Adelabu (@BayoAdelabu), FCA, FCIB, OFR, resumes his role as the Honourable Minister of Power for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the NERC joins Nigerians in congratulating him on his appointment.
“The Honourable Minister with his wealth of experience from various sectors will bring fresh insights into the power sector. NERC looks forward to working closely with him and leveraging on the Nigerian Electricity Act, 2023 to achieve a sustainable electricity supply industry and NERC’s vision of “Electricity on Demand”.”
