The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Saturday defeated his Peoples Democratic Party rival with 2,660 votes at Muchalla Ward, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Adamawa is believed to be a strong fort of Atiku, because the state is his home state.
Results from the Independent National Electoral Commission collation center in the LGA show that Obi received 4,524 votes, Atiku received 1,864 votes, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress received 340 votes, and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party received 31 votes.
