The All Progressives Congress has scored the highest votes at the Shettima Kukawa Polling Unit 023, Lawan Bukar Ward, Maiduguri metropolis, where the APC Vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, voted today.
After counting, the presiding officer of the PU, Suleiman Abdulhamid, announced that the APC Scored 126 votes, defeating the Peoples Democratic Party which had 22 votes; Labour Party had 0 votes and the New Nigeria Peoples Party also had 0 votes.
The PUNCH reported that the voting exercise lasted for up to six hours and began two hours behind schedule, as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission arrived late.
