A legal professional to the Indigenous People of Biafra, Aloy Ejimakor, has listed the health challenges the detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is suffering from while in incarceration with the Department of States Service.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Post, the lead counsel to the proscribed Biafran leader hinted that his client is reacting to the something and needs freedom to take proper medical care of his health.
He said that Kanu has boils on both of his armpits which could be as an aftermath of reaction to something.
The legal luminary said that he has no idea of what Kanu may be reacting to, adding that his custodian would have better knowledge of that.
He added his client has a heart condition, high blood pressure, swollen legs and auditory challenges.
In his words, “Yes of course, he demonstrated today that he has boils in his two armpits. Of course you know what it is when the body is reacting to something. We don’t know what is causing that. The people who are detaining him should be able to explain what is happening. His feet are swollen. He has a heart condition, high blood pressure and auditory challenges.”
“When they tortured him in Kenya, they inflicted him with that. I don’t know why a learned justice should keep him detained. DSS jail is nothing but a glorified police cell. He needs proper treatment and he needs to be free to consult with his lawyers in order to be effective with his defence,” he added.
