Social media influencer, Reno Omokri, has commended President Bola Tinubu for dismissing Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye as Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs.
Omokri cited Kennedy-Ohaneye’s history of petty squabbles, disruptions, and cultural insensitivity, notably her interference in the marriage of 100 orphaned girls in Niger State.
Taking to X on Wednesday, Omokri welcomed Ambassador Bianca Onoh’s appointment, praising her character and breeding, which he believes will bring class and polish to the Federal Executive Council.
His tweet on X reads, “The sacking of Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, the Minister of Women Affairs of Nigeria, is a praiseworthy move by the President. This woman is more suited for the World Wrestling Federation than for a role in government.
” Constantly engaging in petty squabbles and disrupting events and occasions. And her meddlesomeness in cultures she does not understand, like the marriage of 100 orphaned girls in Niger State, which was consensual and did not involve underaged girls, was a major setback for the popularity of the administration in the North.
“I commend the President for showing her the door. He needs a person whose temperament is calm, with a more contemplative attitude, such that they think long term and begin with the end in mind before speaking and acting.
” Additionally, the coming on board of Ambassador Bianca Onoh is a significant plus for the administration. This is a woman I know personally, and can vouch that she has the character and breeding to bring class and polish to the Federal Executive Council.”
